Wind Song

Wind song, restless and free, spiraling ever high,
To ride the wings of the eagle and lark, flying to catch the wind.
Silent, high on a hill, listen within your heart
And you will hear a melody drifting upon the wind.
Music, high in the trees, beating within the earth,
Will sing to you if you open your heart, riding upon the wind.
If you look for me there, seeking with other eyes,
You'll know I've gone the way of my heart, drifting upon the wind.
Let my soul song ride the wind,
To be heard by the heart of the bard
And be sung to the ones I love,
So they know we ne'er did part.
